GrowthWorks Atlantic Venture Fund Invests in IntroHive

FREDERICTON – December 10, 2012 – GrowthWorks Atlantic Venture Fund and the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF) today announced that they co-led an investment of $1.8 million in IntroHive. Former Research In Motion (RIM) executives also participated in the round, bringing the company’s total financing to-date to $3 million. Read the full announement here.

GrowthWorks Atlantic Venture Fund held a press conference on January 24 to announce recent investments totaling $1.75 million in three emerging technology companies based in Saint John, New Brunswick. In attendance were Scott Walton, CEO of Enovex, Emmanuel Elmajian, CEO of Spinzo, and Todd Murphy, CEO of MedRunner. They were joined by Tom Hayes, President & CEO of Growthworks Atlantic Ltd, as well as the Premiere of New Brunswick, David Alward.
