Murray Munro

Murray Munro joined GrowthWorks Capital in March 1998 and is the Senior Vice-President of National Sales Marketing and Government Relations. Prior to joining the company, Murray served as Executive Director of the Western Brewers Association, an industry association representing the commercial brewing industry in western Canada. He was also Director of the Small Business and Equity Investment Branch of the Ministry of Small Business, Tourism and Culture where he was responsible for small business and venture capital programs in British Columbia. Murray worked in the BC public service for fourteen years, during which time he held a variety of positions with the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economic Development.

Murray also serves as Corporate Secretary to the GrowthWorks Boards of Directors.

Murray received his undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia in 1980. He also attended Graduate School at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario where he received an MA in Political Science and a Masters of Public Administration.
