After 4 years as a financial advisor during the 90’s Larry then moved to successfully oversee the retail channel of a high-tech American start-up. For most of the last decade, Larry was senior training manager for a Canadian national investment and insurance company. He was also responsible for compliance at multiple branches. Joining GrowthWorks Capital in March of 2008, Larry has been building and brokering relationships with advisors, retail investors and GrowthWorks. Larry’s ethos is simple - bring the outside world in, engage in meaningful dialogue to acknowledge the needs of all stakeholders and work as an effective, integrated part of the retail framework. Larry has an undergraduate degree in commerce with marketing specialization. Larry is currently studying for the CFP exam. Larry was licensed in multiple provinces through the CIFC with IFIC, Branch Manager IFIC and LLQP. Larry holds a post-grad diploma in languages from University of Sao Paulo, where he was also an adjunct professor in english for 1 year. Larry has attended 45 related sales management courses throughout the past 10 years and continues to upgrade his education and skillset. |
