Tom Ly

Tom K. Ly is a Regional Sales Representative at GrowthWorks Capital's office in Toronto. Tom started at GrowthWorks in January of 2005, bringing a decade of experience in the sales and marketing aspects of the financial services industry. He has been servicing clients in the Eastern Ontario and GTA-Toronto. In addition Tom has taken on a hybrid role dealing with business development and client service events in the Chinese community.

Tom holds a bachelor degree from the University of Toronto majoring in economics with a minor in political science.

Prior to GrowthWorks, Tom had worked for a variety of different investment and mutual fund companies in similar roles. He had also worked in investment relations for merchant banking firms promoting small-caps and IPO's on various exchanges in North America. Tom returned to Canada in 2004 after a two-year stint in Europe working for an investment company in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, specializing in off-shore bridge financing.
